Many of the 154 active tankers blacklisted by the US last month have stopped operating, according to ship tracking data analysed by Bloomberg.
The outgoing Biden administration sanctioned 183 ships in January for their role in trading Russian barrels.
Of these, 94 are now inactive, about 60% of the 154 previously operational vessels.
