Tankers will not begin loading oil from Canada’s Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project until mid-May, the operating company said on Wednesday.
The $34bn Trans Mountain Expansion (TMX) began commercial operations on 1 May with shippers subject to higher tariffs and tolls, but oil will not arrive immediately for loading.
“Tankers will be able to receive oil from Line 2 by mid-May,” said Trans Mountain Corp.
