George Economou’s TMS Tankers has picked Wartsila’s fixed pitch propellers (FPPs) for a quartet of tanker newbuildings in China.
The contract will cover the propellers for four aframaxes under construction at Hantong Ship Heavy Industry.
The Greek owner has done business with Wartsila in the past as the latter’s FPPs and other products have been used in other TMS Tankers and Cardiff Marine vessels.
