Nathalin has been linked with the acquisition of a VLCC owned by Greek-Cypriot shipowner Andreas Hadjiyiannis.
The Thai tanker owner is said to be paying between $24m and $24.75m for the 298,641-dwt VL Sakura (built 2001), according to several brokers.
TradeWinds reported on Friday that Hadjiyiannis looked set to reap a sizeable reward on a tanker investment made last year.
