Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has confirmed the sale of an aframax but remained mum on much of the detail.
The Greek owner says only that it has offloaded the 107,200-dwt Opal Queen to an “international operator”, Tuesday’s bourse announcement read.
TradeWinds reported on 14 January that the NYSE-listed company had sold the ship to Egyptian Tanker Co for $34m. Shipbroker Clarksons reports that the vessel was reported sold to clients of Egyptian Tanker for $34.5m.
