Teekay Tankers has reportedly chartered two suezmax tankers to US oil major Chevron in deals worth $32.4m.
European brokers said the New York-listed shipowner, a spin-off of Vancouver's Teekay Corp, has chartered the tankers for 12 months at $45,000 per day.
