Oscar Spieler is stepping aside at John Fredriksen’s Golar to be replaced by a man who is only in the door a matter of months.
Singapore-based Spieler will step down as chief executive of Golar LNG Energy and Golar Management from today, an announcement to the Oslo Stock Exchange from the former company read on Tuesday.
Spieler is not quite ready to leave the Fredriksen empire, however, as he will remain as an advisor to the board and management, Golar Energy wrote.
