Shanghai Junzheng Shipping has ordered up to six 25,900-dwt stainless steel chemical tanker newbuildings at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou (CMJL Yangzhou).
The order was for two firm vessels plus options for four ships.
The deal at CMJL Yangzhou — the former Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding — is said to be the third chemical tanker newbuilding contract that the Chinese owner has signed this year.
