Samudera Shipping Line is reported to have made its first sale-and-purchase move of 2022, buying a small chemical tanker from Eastern Pacific Shipping.
Broking reports list the Singapore-listed Indonesian shipping company as having acquired the 20,000-dwt Ebony Ray (built 2008) for $14m.
The deal is said to have a three-year time charter to GSB Tankers at $13,750 per day attached to it.
