Russia has ordered that all vessels arriving in its ports be inspected by divers, following a number of mysterious explosions suffered by tankers in recent weeks.
Reuters cited a letter from the transport ministry and federal agency for sea and river transport detailing the requirement.
At least four vessels with a history of Russian port calls have been hit by mines or sea drones in the Mediterranean or Baltic since the start of the year.
