Sweden’s Rederi AB Gotland is selling its last fully owned tankers as it focuses on ropax operations.
Brokers reported that the 53,100-dwt MR trio Gotland Marieann, Gotland Aliya (both built 2008) and 53,200-dwt Gotland Sofia (built 2007) were offloaded to unknown Chinese interests for $18.5m each, or a total of $55.5m.
The ships have been owned by Gotland since being delivered as newbuildings.
