New York-listed Performance Shipping of late has been best known for its war of words with fellow Greek shipowner George Economou over his attempts to wrest away control of the company.
But Performance was making news on Wednesday for purely commercial reasons, as the shipowner revealed it is taking charter cover on an aframax in a tanker market that is currently seeking direction.
