Belgian owner Euronav has sold its oldest VLCC for conversion into an FPSO.
The company said it would book a gain of $14.4m from the disposal of the 305,000-dwt VK Eddie (built 2005) to an unnamed global supplier and operator of offshore floating platforms.
The vessel has already been delivered.
