Navios Maritime Acquisition has a "take 'em or leave 'em" attitude toward exhaust gas scrubbers amid a flurry of orders as the IMO 2020 deadline approaches maritime shipping.
"We are agnostic about this," chief executive Angeliki Frangou said today during the tanker owner's third-quarter earnings call.
"If we are paid, we will install scrubbers. We have done that on newbuildings but overall we are agnostic."
