India’s Mercator Ltd has announced a time charter running for up to four years for one of its ships.
The contract is worth INR 1.2bn ($17.64m), inclusive of options.
It did not specify which of its tankers, LPGCs or bulkers had been fixed, but has been contacted for clarification.
The deal works out at about $12,100 per day.
The charter runs from January 2017.
