Greek owner Evangelos Marinakis appears to have done well on his investment in a 13-year-old aframax tanker.
According to European brokers, the 113,000-dwt Androklis (built 2006) has been fixed for a year at $20,500 per day, with an option for a second year at $25,000 per day, by trader Trafigura Beheer.
The Marinakis company Capital Maritime and Trading bought the ship from BP as British Kestrel in October last year for $13.7m.
