Evangelos Marinakis' Curzon Maritime and Japan's NYK Line have locked in VLCCs into charter deals.
Curzon is expanding its cooperation with Al-Iraqia Shipping Services & Oil Trading (Aissot) with a charter for up to seven years.
European shipbrokers said the charterer has fixed a 300,000-dwt Curzon newbuilding, which is due from Samsung Heavy Industries next year, at a bareboat rate of $25,500 per day.
