The Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has filed an Interpol red notice against 12 Indonesian seafarers who it suspects were involved in the theft of 1.8m litres of diesel fuel from the product tanker on which they were employed.
The fuel, estimated to be worth MYR 4.86m ($1.15m), was allegedly stolen from the 3,900-dwt Ocean Pride (built 1992) on 5 October.
