Lundqvist Rederierna has returned to its favourite Japanese shipbuilder to order additional aframax tonnage.
The Finnish shipowner says the vessel will be built to Sumitomo’s latest design called the EVA2. No financial terms were disclosed.
Reports in regional shipping media in Scandinavia said the 112,000-dwt ship will be delivered from the shipyard in early 2019.
Lundqvist Redierna currently has two aframax tankers on order at Sumitomo with both ships due for delivery within 2018.
