Latsco Shipping of Greece is tipped to have made its first move in the secondhand tanker market in more than five years.
The Latsis family company is being linked to the purchase of two aframaxes from Chandris (Hellas) in a deal totalling nearly $50m.
Shipbroking sources say the 115,760-dwt Amorea and Aegea (both built 2009) are presently trading dirty.
