John Fredriksen’s Frontline has invested in a scrubber manufacturer as part of a major contract to retrofit its fleet.
The deal represents Frontline's first active stance on scrubbers and comes only a few days after John Angelicoussis secured a huge premium on charters for two VLCC newbuildings fitted with scrubbers.
Oslo and New York-listed Frontline is taking a 20% slice of Feen Marine Scrubbers, it announced today.
