Shapoorji Pallonji, India’s infrastructure and energy group, has left the tanker sector following the sales of the last two ships in its fleet.

The company’s Shapoorji Pallonji Forbes Shipping (SPFS) unit has offloaded two product carriers into Indonesia and Vietnam.

Indonesia’s Samudera Shipping Line said it paid $12.75m for the 20,900-dwt Saranga (built 2006).

The vessel has been acquired by the Samudera Tankers unit and renamed the Sinar Malahayati.
