South Korean shipowner HMM has confirmed details of a big charter for three new VLCCs ordered at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industriess.
TradeWinds reported in February that the company had agreed to take the 300,000-dwt tankers on a bareboat basis from owner GS Energy over the long-term.
The shipping company said it has in turn agreed a 10-year consecutive voyage charter with GS Energy affiliate, the oil major GS Caltex.
