Greek-Cypriot shipowner Andreas Hadjiyiannis has placed his first VLCC into the Navig8 pool.
Hadjiyiannis-led Hellenic Tankers moved into the sector with the acquisition of the 306,200-dwt Takamine (built 2004) from NYK Line in May 2018.
Today Navig8 announced a ship fitting this description, now named as Princess Mary, has been entered into the V8 pool.
According to the Navig8 website there are presently 34 VLCCs in the pool.
