Product tanker specialist Hafnia is hoping a series of upgrades can improve the performance of some its older vessels.
The company said it focused on upgrading its fleet and optimising efficiency to increase performance and reduce its environmental footprint, according to its latest annual report.
Hafnia said this has been done in a number of ways, including Mewis Duct fitting to the propellers, installing propeller boss cap fins, using twisted leading edge rubber bulbs and increasing propeller diameters.
