Gulf Navigation Holdings could be on the verge of making a VLCC splash with newbuildings or second-hand units possibly in its sights.
The Dubai-based tanker owner’s board of directors is to meet on Thursday to “discuss the possibility of [the] acquisition of VLCC vessel(s),” a brief note to the city’s bourse read on Monday.
Gulf Nav made no mention of how many crude carriers could be on the menu or how much it is willing to spend.
