Germany's United Product Tankers (UPT) will have a new co-managing director after Stefan Ciegelski decided to retire after 45 years in shipping.
The company, which manages pools of German KG (limited partnership) companies, said Ciegelski has been in charge at UPT for 17 successful years. He will step down by the end of June.
Chartering and projects manager Matthias Schoeller will succeed him as co-managing director, working with the other joint boss, Christos Matarangas, who has himself been at the helm of UPT for over a decade...
