Euronav bosses are meeting shareholders ahead of a crucial vote that could decide if the company merges with John Fredriksen’s Frontline.
The Belgian tanker giant is also citing big backing from analysts for its bid to resist an alternative plan to combine Euronav with the Saverys family’s shipping decarbonisation operation — CMB.Tech — instead.
Both sides are proposing new directors at an annual general meeting on 19 May.
