VLCC owner DHT Holdings has seen spot bookings rise to $70,000 a day for the first quarter of 2023.
The company, which has a fleet of 23 VLCCs including six on time-charter, said on Monday that it had booked 37% of available spot days so far for the quarter.
The spot earnings represent a rise of 10% compared with the average daily spot earnings of $63,800 in the fourth quarter.
