Navios Maritime Acquisition is set for a lower rate on a medium range tanker that has secured a contract extension with Chevron.
For the last year the 50,000-dwt Nave Orbit (built 2009) has been earning $13,500 per day on a charter to the oil major.
But the tanker is now said to have been fixed for one extra year at $12,700 per day.
