Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari has called for international cooperation to stop corruption in the country’s oil industry.
According to the This Day website, he told delegates at a Commonwealth leaders’ meeting in Malta: “We must all work together to compel multinational oil companies, international financial institutions and international shipping lines to stop aiding and abetting corruption in the oil sector in Nigeria.”
