CMA CGM is tapping up Chinese shipbuilders for a series of up to 12 large LNG-dual fuel container ship newbuildings.
The French container giant is also preparing to sign contracts in South Korea that will double the number of vessels it is ordering at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Brokers and newbuilding suppliers said CMA CGM is seeking offers on up to 12 vessels of 18,000 teu.
