Saudi state tanker giant Bahri has dismissed claims that one of its VLCC is floating US sanctions against Venezuela.
It said it wanted to clarify that its 303,000-dwt Abqaiq (built 2002) was in ballast condition with no cargo onboard.
The Saudi-flagged tanker is en-route from the Red Sea to pick up a cargo from the Port of Jose Terminal in Venezuela for one of its regular customers in India, it added.
