Frontline chief executive Lars Barstad has highlighted a looming structural problem for oil shippers over the next decade: not enough tankers.
The Norwegian company’s boss told an earnings call that a “wave” of vessels will turn 20 years of age in the next 10 years.
He described this as a “wall” of replacement needs as older tankers have to be phased out.
