Three trade groups representing fuel supply chain companies have urged the International Maritime Organization to adopt decarbonization policies that account for competition with other industries for clean energy.
The trade groups said many economies and sectors are striving for decarbonisation targets as the IMO works to set policies that will push shipping towards its target of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by around 2050.
