The Biden administration has unveiled an action plan that lays out a strategy for pushing US shipping to nearly eliminate greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
The prospects for such a plan are unclear, given that the president-elect, who takes office in January, has voiced support for fossil fuels and has bashed renewable energy.
