Sweden's Wallenius Marine and Volkswagen have struck a deal to order a series of pure car/truck carrier (PCTC) newbuildings CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering.
The deal for up to six 6,500-ceu vessels worth about $460m.
CIMC Raffles disclosed on its website that Stockholm-based Wallenius had inked two firm vessels with two pairs of options.
