Malaysia’s Semarak Renewable Energy and Singapore’s Megamas Resources are forming a joint venture to enter offshore shipowning.
The duo will order new vessels to install and maintain subsea fibre-optic lines and power cables for offshore wind farms.
The new venture will be known as Semarak MIS, a statement cited by the Bernama news agency revealed.
