UK-based Scotline Marine Holdings has ordered the fourth vessel in a series of multipurpose newbuildings in the Netherlands as it marks 40 years of operations.
But the design for this one has been updated to make it the first hybrid UK coaster.
The Essex-based owner said it had exercised an option for a 4,800-dwt Trader-type ship to be called Scot Isles at the Royal Bodewes yard.
