Marco Polo Marine (MPM) has secured orders for two smart floating fish farms as part of Singapore’s drive towards increased food self-sufficiency.
The contracts were placed by Singapore Aquaculture Technologies (SAT). Financial terms of the contracts plus the delivery dates were not disclosed.
“The smart fish farms represent a new era in aquaculture, using advanced technology and green initiative to produce at least 500 tonnes of fish for the Singaporean market annually,” MPM said.
