Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE) has ended the financial year in the red with a loss of MYR 25.2m ($6.2m).
Revenue was down 5.7% year-on-year to MYR 273.2m, with offshore revenue up 25.6% to MYR 224m, but ship repair revenue down 56% to MYR 49.2m.
The Johor-based shipyard handled a total of 93 vessels for repair work during the whole of 2018 against 75 in the previous year.
