It has been a remarkable year for Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) as strong demand for newbuildings has helped its shipyards to achieve its order target five months before the end of the year, but it is not all smooth sailing for the shipbuilding group.
KSOE, a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings, is a holding company for three major South Korean shipbuilders: HHI, Hyundai Samho and Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
