Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has confirmed it will suspend operations at its Gunsan shipyard in July.
The temporary halt has been blamed on a lack of new orders.
Revenue from Gunsan accounts for 5.06% of the group total.
Clarksons lists it as building seven ships for handover this year, including a VLOC for Polaris and VLCCs and suezmaxes for Olympic, Arcadia and Polembros.
