Germany’s Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG) has seen its application for self-administration accepted by the Flensburg District Court.

Martin Hammer, described as an experienced shipyard manager and founder of consulting company enomyc, which specialises in restructuring, has been named as the shipbuilder’s new managing director.

Restructuring experts Stefan Denkhaus and Friedrich von Kaltenborn — both from Hamburg-based law firm BRL — have been named as general authorised representatives.
