German shipowner Gerdes Green has added a second hybrid combi cargo ship at Damen Shipyards in the Netherlands.
The shipbuilder said the 3,850-dwt vessel will feature a wide range of innovative solutions aimed at optimising efficiency and sustainable performance.
No price has been revealed, but the owner said the next-generation freighter has been redeveloped using computational fluid dynamics and modern tooling to ensure utmost efficiency.
