Dutch yard Royal IHC has announced an order from Egypt for 10 new cutter suction dredgers (CSDs) and workboats.
The deal with the engineering authority of the ministry of defence consists of five IHC Beaver vessels and five Delta Multi Craft 1050 ships.
Clarksons has the 200-gt dredgers down for delivery in January 2019.
The order also includes three floating IHC Multi-Booster stations, each delivering 895kW of power, as well as 10 1,500-metre HDPE floating pipelines.
