Shipowner Eyal Ofer has made a $2m donation to South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
The owner of Zodiac Maritime said the scholarship fund contribution will be used to enhance educational opportunities for all DSME employees’ children.
It was also a goodwill gesture to the shipyard for delivering vessels on time despite the challenges it has faced.
