Iran is reportedly pulling out of Yemen to avert direct confrontation with the US, potentially paving the way for shipping to return to the Red Sea.
An Iranian official told The Telegraph that, after a barrage of US airstrikes, Houthi militants “are living their final months or even days, so there is no point in keeping them on our list” and were instead pivoting to focus on the threat from the US.
