Panama is offering a new $18m contract to revive Balboa Shipyard at the southern entrance of the Panama Canal.
A deal is expected to be awarded sometime between late 2021 and early 2022.
The contract will involve upgrading and operating what is the largest shipyard in the Pacific between Chile and California.
