Damen Shipyards Group has clinched an order for 19 shallow-draught vessels for German heavy-lift owner Combi Lift.
The Dutch builder said the ships will transport over-sized and heavy-lift cargo for the Gazprom Amur Gas processing plant project in the Russian far east.
The deal comprises four multi-cats, four pusher tugs, seven Stan pontoons and four side floaters.
Combi Lift will carry more than 176,000 tonnes of cargo from different production locations by sea to Russia and along the Amur and Zeya Rivers.
